The One Step Drug Screen Test Card is a rapid urine screening test that can be performed without the use of an instrument. The test utilizes a monoclonal antibody to selectively detect elevated levels of specific drugs in urine.
COCAINE (COC)
Cocaine is a potent central nervous system (CNS) stimulant and a local anesthetic. Initially, it brings about extreme energy and restlessness while gradually resulting in tremors, over-sensitivity and spasms. In large amounts, cocaine causes fever, unresponsiveness, and difficulty in breathing and unconsciousness.
Cocaine is often self-administered by nasal inhalation, intravenous injection and free-base smoking. It is excreted in the urine in a short time primarily as Benzoylecgonine. Benzoylecgonine, a major metabolite of cocaine, has a longer biological half-life (5-8 hours) than cocaine (0.5-1.5 hours), and can generally be detected for 24-48 hours after cocaine exposure.
The One Step Drug Screen Test Card yields a positive result when the cocaine metabolite in urine exceeds 300 ng/mL. This is the suggested screening cut-off for positive specimens set by the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA, USA).
MARIJUANA (THC)
THC (D9--tetrahydrocannabinol) is the primary active ingredient in cannabinoids (marijuana). When smoked or orally administered, it produces euphoric effects. Users have impaired short term memory and slowed learning. They may also experience transient episodes of confusion and anxiety. Long term relatively heavy use may be associated with behavioral disorders. The peak effect of smoking marijuana occurs in 20-30 minutes and the duration is 90-120 minutes after one cigarette. Elevated levels of urinary metabolites are found within hours of exposure and remain detectable for 3-10 days after smoking. The main metabolite excreted in the urine is 11-nor-D9-tetrahydrocannabinol-9-carboxylic acid (D9-THC-COOH).
The One Step Drug Screen Test Card yields a positive result when the concentration of marijuana in urine exceeds 50 ng/mL. This is the suggested screening cut-off for positive specimens set by the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA, USA).

In these different culture zones, each zone contains the culture medium for the particular antibiotic. Next optical system will record the growth of bacteria in different culture areas, observe and accuray record the growth and reproduction of bacteria. Then is the most crucial step: The algorithm analyzes the collected bacteria pictures and the bacterial growth curve in the culture area. This means that researchers can understand the growth of bacterial pathogens in different antibiotic environments within a few hours, determine which antibiotics are sensitive to bacterial pathogens, and thus adopt a more effective antibiotic regimen. Phosphates are required for the growth of all living things, which is why large amounts of phosphate fertilizer are needed every year for crop c*tion around the world. Organism bacteria can obtain the required phosphorus from the environment through a variety of metabolic pathways. However, when the environment is unable to provide enough phosphate, for example, nutrients are scarce in some areas of the oceans and many organisms are not bacterially slow to grow. Some bacteria have evolved specific metabolic pathways that break stable Carbon-phosphorus (CP) bond to take phosphate from other substances. These substances are produced by many of the original organisms and constitute the largest phosphate reserves in the marine environment. Many of these compounds are toxic (antibiotics) and have protective significance for the survival of some marine organisms.
Some bacteria are able to convert phosphates to phosphates to promote their growth. They evolve a system of 14 proteins, about half of which are enzymes involved in the chemical conversion of substrates. Five enzymes form two large steps in a cell called C-P-lyase complexes that catalyze the five-step chemical reactions that convert phosphoric acid compounds.
The scientists from Britain published the latest research progress in Nature. Through their research, they determined the exact molecular structure of the C-P lyase complex and for the first time revealed the working mechanism of the secret bacterium of bacteria. Using X-ray crystallography and electron microscopy, the researchers completed a detailed demonstration of the four enzymes in the complex, as well as the location of the fifth enzyme in the complex.
The researchers point out that they hope this study will update people's understanding of how bacteria survive in extreme conditions and how to break down specific antibiotics. In the long run, the research can also be used to develop water purification technologies to remove Pesticide contamination in drinking water, and to prevent bacteria from producing antibiotic resistance.
Cloning of large fragment gene clusters (especially gene clusters of bacterial value-added biomolecules) is the most basic and critical method in microbial functional genomics research, which is also one of the difficulties in the current functional genomics research.
