當(dāng)人們觀察到的場景與自身的過往經(jīng)歷越相似，鏡像神經(jīng)元就越活躍，尤其是當(dāng)這些場景與運(yùn)動(dòng)神經(jīng)的活動(dòng)相關(guān)的時(shí)候。所以，球迷往往會(huì)有下意識(shí)的“從眾”行為：球隊(duì)贏了就集體狂歡，輸了就集體哭泣。
此外研究人員還發(fā)現(xiàn)，對(duì)那些“真球迷”而言，鏡像神經(jīng)元還有助于他們更好地“讀懂”球賽。對(duì)比實(shí)驗(yàn)顯示，在觀賽的時(shí)候，那些“真球迷”能夠更好地預(yù)測(cè)球路走向，此時(shí)，他們的鏡像神經(jīng)元比那些“偽球迷”更活躍。
